Dear Chouteau-Mazie Families,
We recognize that many of our families in the community are currently facing challenges due to the possible delays and disruptions in the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. These interruptions have created real hardships for households that rely on this vital program to meet their daily food needs. We want you to know that Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools is here to help.
Our top priority is ensuring that every student has access to healthy meals each day. As you know, breakfast and lunch are free to ALL Chouteau-Mazie Students. In addition, our district is partnering with local organizations and food banks to provide emergency food boxes and weekend meal packs for students who need the extra support. If your family could benefit from these resources or if you know someone who might please contact our school social worker, Brenda Cunningham at 918-476-8376 Ext. 119. We are committed to responding quickly and confidentially.
We know this is a difficult time for many in our community, but by working together and supporting one another, we can make sure no student goes hungry. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need assistance or information about local food resources.
Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools believes that no child should ever go hungry. We are grateful to our community for coming together in times like these to lift one another up and ensure that every child is cared for. Thank you for being a valued part of the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcat Family. Your children’s well-being is at the heart of everything we do.
Thank you,
Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools
