Jennifer Hokit was selected Chouteau Elementary School 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Hokit teaches STEM to our 2nd- 5th grade classes and provides ELA and Math interventions. She also takes the lead by working as a member of our Lighthouse team & Action team. You can find her daily helping our teachers and students with technology issues and she also helps with computer programs that they are working on in the regular education classroom. Mrs. Hokit is well deserving of this title! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to Chouteau Elementary School.

The NASP Tier 2 archery tournament scheduled for Wednesday for elementary has been cancelled.

According to usnews.com Chouteau Elementary School ranks in the top 20% of Oklahoma Elementary schools. Chouteau Elementary is ranked #197 out of 986 Oklahoma Elementary Schools.
Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare their students for high school.
Chouteau Elementary School is an excellent place to be!
Wagoner Archery Tournament has been canceled for Saturday, February 5th.
Chouteau Elementary School Families,
In order to help families plan and prepare for forecasted inclement weather and with the safety of our students in mind, Chouteau Mazie Public Schools will switch to distance learning Wednesday and Thursday, February 2nd and 3rd, and will utilize a snow day Friday, February 4th.
Chouteau Elementary students will be bringing home their chrome books and pencil paper packets to complete their work for virtual days. Teachers will meet with students from 10:00-11:00 on Google meet to answer questions and go over work that needs to be completed. Teachers will also be available to answer questions through email on virtual days between 8:00 and 3:00.
Enjoy your Friday snow day and see you back on Monday with chrome books, chargers, and finished school work in hand!
