Chouteau Elementary Parents, I have truly been blessed by the opportunity to be the elementary principal for the last four years. It is with great appreciation for your support throughout my time here, that I say thank you. I have found great success and pleasure in working with my teachers, staff, and students and will greatly miss the work and the relationships I have acquired here. I really do love this place. The time has come for me to follow in another direction that God has placed in my and my husbands heart. My plans will be to work at our family business, Zero Pest, and I will also manage our sober living/transitional/ workforce home my husband and I have begun, The Lazarus Effect, from Death to Life. I am so thankful for the people of Chouteau and the sweet blessing you are to me. I will finish the roles I have been given and will work to make the transition as easy as possible for the new elementary principal. I will sincerely miss the amazing teachers, students, staff and the incredible family and community support. Sincerely, Tamara Bryan

Classes will be canceled Tuesday April 11th so that students and staff may attend the services for Ms. Snodgrass. We will have counselors and ministers on campus next week to help as we navigate this difficult time and deal with the loss of this precious teacher. Please reach out to your student’s school if needed or to any of the contacts below if we be of any help to you or your family. Shelly was a well-respected teacher who was known for her love of learning and for her heart for students. In the 16 years she spent in the district she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. It is unthinkable that we will not have Shelly physically present in our hallways. I do know her spirit will live on indefinitely in the hearts of our school. Please continue to keep her family in your prayers. Monday, April 3rd, we will start Breakfast in the Classroom. The middle school has been successful in eating their breakfast in the classroom this school year, so we thought we would give it a trial run the last few weeks of school. We will walk first, then eat. Our intent is to make sure students aren't skipping meals to go out and walk laps to reach our school-wide goal. This should equal a Win-Win as students will still get to walk and then still get to eat breakfast. Please continue to drop your child off at the cafeteria at 7:30. We will walk untill 7:45 and then grab breakfast. School hours remain the same. Students need to be in their seats at 8:00. Please contact me if you have questions or suggestions
